SSAM to Host Pre-CLE Event for the NYS Academy of Trial Attorneys’ Latest Course on Hot Topics In Ethics
Westbury, NY – SSAM (Settlement Services Arbitration & Mediation), specialists in dispute resolution in the tristate area, is proud to announce they will be hosting a pre-CLE reception and open house for the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers and other industry and legal professionals, on Thursday, April 6, 2017. The session for the CLE will be Hot Topics in Ethics.
The pre-event at SSAM’s boutique office suites will begin at 4:30PM and will run until 7:00PM. Academy members will attend the CLE, which will be held from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Westbury Marriott located adjacent to the SSAM offices. All academy members are invited to SSAM’s before and after the CLE for a Sliders n’ Suds themed reception.
Featured speakers and presenters for the Academy’s event will be Michael Ross. Esq. and Clifford Robert, Esq. who will provide a recap of the most important changes related to attorney ethics. They will review privilege issues, legal fees, conflicts, client and social media, threatening disciplinary complains and more. The course will be worth 2 CLE credit hours, is suitable for attorneys and newly admitted attorneys and will be FREE for Academy of Trial Lawyers Members and $100 for Non-Members.
SSAM continues to offer its offices as a resource and community center for special events for other legal professionals.
