Grand Opening for SSAM’s New Office
February 7, 2017 – Westbury, NY – SSAM (Settlement Services Arbitration & Mediation), specialists in arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution in the tristate area, announces the grand opening of their impressive boutique office suites and elite concierge services for counsel (defense and plaintiffs), claims examiners, paralegals, retired judges and other industry professionals in Westbury, Long Island, New York.
The design for the offices, located at 865 Merrick Avenue in Westbury, was artfully crafted by a top Westchester designer with creative input and project supervision handled by SSAM, CEO and visionary, William H. Groner, Esq.
Creating a new bar for collaborative mediation and arbitration space, Groner was passionate about the innovative space plan, lighting, furnishings, design details and amenities. He comments, “Our firm fundamentally is about redefining the art of dispute resolution. Providing an environment that sets the right mood and offers all parties a comfortable space in which to discuss cases, creates the best potential for positive interaction and facilitative communication.”
Conveniently located in Nassau County just south of Old Country Road in Westbury, the office suites are 3.7 miles from the Nassau County Bar Association and just 40 minutes by train from NYC. The new location also offers convenient access to local rail stations and all major Long Island parkways. Ample parking and adjacent to a popular hotel for business travelers, the luxurious office suites offer unparalleled comfort, privacy and a variety of amenities to set the right table for every mediation and arbitration.
The 5,000 square foot office space is located at the ground level just off the building’s atrium. The attractive reception area welcomes guests and clients as they are invited into the avant- garde coffee bistro, appropriately named, Common Grounds, while a separate kitchenette, amply provisioned, offers visitors a taste of comfort as they work towards a resolution.
At the Westbury office, SSAM team members greet visitors as they arrive and are on premise to offer support and their expertise as meetings get underway. The handsomely designed space includes five executive offices along the east wing and four along the north wing of the building. Multiple technology rich executive conference rooms are available for use as well as several break out huddle rooms for regrouping with counsel, side bars, or conducting more intimate meetings. In addition, the offices offer two separate entrances which allows for discrete entry and exit for clients.
Rounding out the space are the firm’s relaxing lounge areas. In this Westbury location, SSAM offers a variety of functions such as CLE Courses, Mediation Training, community and charitable events, and temporary office accommodations for out of town attorneys. Other amenities include access to administrative support, recharging stations and the company’s tech hub as well as additional concierge type services. Groner sums up his thoughts about the design, “In each case we handle, we make every necessary preparation and our hearing officers use their vast skill sets to maximize the opportunity to achieve complete resolution. In addition, often the setting must be right to help the parties come to agreement. We wanted to do everything we could to facilitate that, and I know we have.”
The firm is offering clients and potential clients VIP tours of the space and will be hosting a Spring 2017 Open House.
